This was a problem even with VAX Notes (hi! I'm an old fart. It's official!) way back in 1770. And probably even in 2000 BC with cuneiform tablets in ancient Sumer. "Ha! I was the FIRST to scribble upon that stone tablet!" :) We all see this behavior when people leave 'special messages' upon freshly poured cement for sidewalks, right? It'll continue as long as the human race lives. Might as well as get used to it. :) We all pine longingly to leave an indelible mark that will survive our own lifetime. So... P.S. He only acknowledges his close friends and what not if he happens not to come in first. What a crock.
