A couple of days ago, the BayFirst offices got a relay call from a woman who identified herself as a prospective employee looking for work. Because of the high volume of calls we receive, she was promptly directed to the careers and jobs section of our website and to submit her resume if there was a fit.
So here we are. It’s 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and things are still busy here. Our new friend has just called the office moments ago to again, “aggressively inquire about available opportunities.” And after we again direct her to our website and tell her to send email, she says something to the effect of, “Well, I think it’s unprofessional of you to not accept calls from employment candidates” and *click* - she hangs up.
Sheesh.

I guess she’s not used to the new trends in employment field - especially in computer areas like your. I believe she believe using the old ways, calling and/or mailing resume.
Some people can’t change and you’re better off not having her.
Right, David. Get with the program. And do you think employers relish getting relay calls? :)
Nice talking with you last night.
