Yeah..Rob.. Im a DPHH (V)...starting today.
You made your point about using women as object especially on Kids Day... Cheerleaders should wear an appropiate outfits such as Tee shirts and shorts.
Sorry guys, but Beer should be banned too, to keep you from hooting. Come on, people we are supposed to be there for the kids on kids day and for not ourself. I once was a JV cheerleader at college. We had "Kids Day" too, and we knew what need to be changed just for kids. Don't u rem what its like to be kid? I would love to be a kid again!

You see, Allison. That's the problem. Sex isn't supposed to be sold at public venues and especially not on Kids Day. It's one thing to have couples holding hands and planting the occasional kiss for the Kiss Cam - but totally another when they strut around in all their skimpiness.

Gosh, I sound like a conservative!

Good to see you blogging again. :-)

True, I'd never think about sports when it comes to doing things...other than bowling or playing pool. For basketball or football, it'll have to be a special event. Last time was like 2 or 3 years ago, when the Denver Broncos was playing against Baltimore Ravens in Balty. Since KT loves the Broncos, I bought a couple of tickets for us to go. That was an interesting experience.

We'd go again but we'll try for a game in Denver.

As for the cheerleaders, I'll only watch them if they're doing something daring. Otherwise, they're just eye candy for some guys.

At last!

I LOL-ed at your cheerleader comments. Yes, thank you! As a former cheerleader and coach, I definitely think cheering deserves much more respect than a skimpy outfit and some salacious shimmying.

BUT...it is professional sports where money talks and sex sells and, besides, we're there to see one sport, not two. Beer and yelling and adrenaline and basketball. Throw in some stripper-like dancers? Sure!

I've been itching to see a Ravens game, even though I'm not a big fan. First coed cheerleading squad in the league, come on!
