Here I go again with yet another food post from my own blog. I used to live in Kansas City, which is famous for its barbecue, and I picked up a few recipes there for bbq sauce…you can find them here:

How about a BBQ grilling contest? That’ll be a fun thing to do to bring together a lot of folks who are hanging around DC during the Summertime.

Excellent point, Oscar - I didn’t think about that when I wrote my post, but you’re right…grilling does tie in nicely with the whole idea of the fire festivals that occur during the summer time. After all, the ancients cooked their meals over fire.

(If I was closer to DC, I’d show up for that party myself - I’d even bring the mead!)
