		<description>Someone I know once called a cochlear implant a bionic ear.  How does that make you feel?  I wonder whether I should correct people who say that or just let it slide...

Sometimes my hearing aid will hum very loudly when I pass theft deterrent detectors in front of stores and it drives me crazy.</description>

		<description>All I can say is...when I hear weird noises in the office, I definitely get anxious. 

Turning off my implant makes me feel better. So...there's some truth to that! :-)</description>
