Should have put a spoiler alert at the top there! Anyway, I haven't had captioning shut down on me before and can imagine how royally po'd I'd be. Saw the DTS-formatted Munich last night with friends at the Regal Gallery Place theater and noticed something that had me thinking WTF - there were <b>spelling errors</b> in the captioning! And there were even times where the OCs strangely overlapped existing film subtitles. Weird. Anyway, my point? I absolutely don't have one! :-) Oh gee. Same thing happened to me there while watching <i>Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire</i>. That theater needs to look into their equipment. And hey, you didn't get a refund?
