This is just a brief blog because I have to make note of this.
There are a lot of celebs that get married because the chemistry just so happened to be there. It might be because of the situation they just happened to be in, and their emotions fooled them. And maybe they think they’re in love, so they get married.
Granted, there are some celebrity marriages that I really did believe in. But you know what happened to them? They all did those stupid, stupid reality shows.
There’s the infamous Jessica and Nick. Hey, they both got tons of money out of it. And Nick even got a pretty darn good song list out of being all broken up from Jessica leaving him. The thing is, I kinda did think the marriage would last. But the stupid stupid tabloids. UGH.
There’s Meet the Barkers. Oh, I absolutely adored this couple. Travis is the drummer from Blink-182 and his wife is a former Ms. USA (or something like that). They had a explosive marriage, and had some kids too. But seriously she never paid any attention to the kids. I just feel bad for the kids. Travis apparently is the one who wants the divorce. Bummer, because I don’t think they’ve been married for that long.
And there’s Til Death Do Us Part. Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro. Oh now, this is one hot couple. And guess what, they’re filing for divorce! I actually believed in this marriage, mainly because they stayed out of the tabloids and they genuinely looked like and showed that they were in love. I bet it was that girl from RockStar (the host of the show)/ She probably put the moves on Dave. Yes I’m blaming the girl because who wouldn’t want to hit on Dave Navarro?!
So, here’s a note to self: Never ever do a reality show about your relationship because it’s doomed from the start.

I’m just waiting for Hulk and Linda Hogan to file for divorce anytime now…but then again, Ozzy and Sharon stuck together, didn’t they? Maybe these types of relationships only stay together if you have half-grown self-absorbed rich children who take up more of your attention at age 15 than they did at age 2.
What about the recent reality show with Gene Simmons, the former KISS band flamethrower and Shannon Tweeny, the former Playmate?
I did not have any opporunity to videorecord or view the Simmons family.
I used to be the Gene Simmons of the KISS band back in my junior high years along with other deaf schoolmates. Simmons dated Cher before she exposed his real face to the general public.
Gene Simmons and Alice Cooper have the longest marriage record which would be unlikely for the celebrity marriage.
The basic rule for the durability of marriage is the sole celebrity to be married into the couple, not to each other. The human ego would be in the way if two celebrity in same pea pod compete for spotlights.
Gregory Peck, James Stewart, Fred MacMurray and other celebrities knew the right thing to do is to marry the non-celebrity.
Everyone need the center of balance within their home life, not thin out each other. Some power couples could manage hectic lifestyle and superegos.
Many celebrities marry for the purpose of image, not real love.
I am rooting for Owen Wilson with Kate Hudson. I could not understand why Kate married her real ugly hubby in the first place. I always like Owen for years. Same thing with his actor brother, too.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed are not married. They have simply been “partners” for the last 15 or so odd years. From watching the show, Shannon and their two kids that they have together WANT Gene to marry her– they even threw him a mock “surprise” wedding- but Gene, ever the rock star, remains a bona fide marriage-o-phobic.
Really about Gene and Shannon living together as common in law?
Marriage itself is a tool of oppression. Why people have to get married to confirm their real committment to each other?
Some people have superstitutions about marriage.
I kinda missed the old days of celebrity marriages until Julia Roberts ruined the planned nuptial with Keith Sutherland. Perhpas Roberts was too scared of Keith’s father - Donald Sutherland. I sometimes find Donald to be little scary.
A lot of people have no choice about getting married cuz of the societal expectation upon them.
Hollywood is doomed to fail? Not always… Hollywood marriages are no any difference from the rest of us. They have the same struggles and they make the same mistakes. The only difference is that they are too publicly scrutenized by media. Although,there are some long term marriages in Hollywood. They can manage to keep things together despite the extra stress of Hollywood on a marriage. Who knows what the secret is though. The following long term married stars are:

It seems like half of their marriages are failed and the other half of them are successful. Thank God, I am not famous having to deal with all the craps!
