I read the Express paper every day.

Once again, DeafDC.com has been noted in the blog log. Way cool.

Anyway, I enjoy reading Express because since it started it’s definitely improved. I love Tuesday mornings because there’s a new section, the Fit section. It gave me the idea of jump roping. And oh I love jump roping now. It makes me sweat more than anything (now, if only my gym would offer better jump ropes).

I love the section on Fridays called “BIO - By Invitation Only” It’s fun to read up on couples who are getting married sometimes in the next year. And how they met, and also what their most hated piece of clothing is.

I tend to read the Look Out section about celebrities because that’s pretty much the only place where I get the news of what’s happening in the celeb world….I don’t read People or In Touch or one of those gossip magazines. But in the Look Out section, I love the Express staff’s sarcastic sense of humor. I totally love their sense of humor.

Today they noted that Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin just gave birth to a baby boy. Guess what they named it? Moses. Gawd, I feel sorry for both of their kids! Apple and Moses. It just makes them seem so biblical. Not only that, can you imagine how mean the kids are going to be when it comes to making fun of their names?? Apple’s not that BAD, but Moses, oh that’s just asking for trouble. Oh I’m Mmoses. NO really, what’s your name? I’m Moses. Yea, right. Poor kid. I figure their parents are probably gonna just hire private tutors….that might save them from any trouble. After all, kids these days are MEAN.

Then in the corner is a picture of Star Jones. See, I’ve never been a fan of her. She’s always been that loudmouth crazy black woman on The View. And I’ll be damned, I never recognize her ever since she “lost” all that weight. Yet, all you gossip folks always put her picture in the paper at least once a week. My theory is, stop putting her picture in the paper, then she’ll become one of those washed up celebrities, and then we won’t have to put up with her. I could CARE less about her. And did she really “lose” that weight? There’s so many ways to define the word “lose” and you all know what i mean. I can just see her on that tv show, Surreal Life. I really can. (and the scary part is I know what the show’s about….eek!)

Anyway, my daily reading is quite entertaining. Now if only I could get back to the library and pick out a couple of books to last me a few weeks.

But for now I’m content with Express, and my 9 magazine subscriptions, gotta love those.
