Why wait for the warm weather? I am simply happy to grill outside anytime during the year. During winter, the grill provides enough warmth for my body and keep my old beaten ceramic mug warm (apple cider, hot chocolate, or coffee). Be creative when it comes to grilling all kinds of food. Put the fun in the art of grilling!

mahi-mahi is another fish that grills well.

Chicken is not hard -- a good marinade (many fine ones are to be found in the local grocery store) does wonders in keeping the meat juicy. Maybe suggest that to your dad? The only other thing is not to have the fire too hot or leave 'em onj too long.

Jeremy, I've learned from experience that the best grilled burgers are those you don't thaw prior to cooking (BBQ style, that is). That way, the meat stays in one piece and all the juices are retained. Try it the next time you do some grilling!

no a george forman grill does not count. That sucks the juice out of all the meat. I've not been successful with that. but it does make a mean grilled cheese sandwich.

ah yeah..also I don't just cook beef burgers, i'm a fan of ground turkey & ground chicken burgers (those you have to cook all the way through) Try rachel ray's recipes for burgers. they take me to heaven and back.
