Granted, I’m not a movie person. I really am not.

I can barely sit through a 2 hour movie. My roommate looks at me like I’m crazy when I say ooh it’s only 90 minutes long, let’s watch that.

When she says a movie’s really good, I actually ask her how long’s the movie? I get a dirty look.

What can I say? I can sit and watch 3 to 4 hours of tv without any problems but I can’t sit through 2 hours of a movie.

But that’s not what I want to talk about. I do check for open captioned movies because there are a few movies I do want to see. I don’t know about you, but I do work, I have a pretty regular schedule, I go to the gym, I work out, I come home, I make dinner…I chill out. With the occassional friend getting in touch with me and wanting to hang out after work. It’s all good. Now, add in going to see a movie in the middle of the week. Yeah I’m not too keen on that idea.

It seems that when I look at the dates that the movies are captioned, or even the times. They’re not that convenient. Call me crazy, but I want to go to a movie on the weekends. You know, saturday night, or even a sunday afternoon matinee? Does that sound too difficult? I don’t think so. Maybe the reason why they show captioned movies during the week because there are less people going to the theaters, and they figure make use of that open slot and show captioned movies? But would it kill some of those theaters to have captioned movies over the weekends????

That’s just me talking though.
