Some of you can go ahead and roll your eyes.

Time for a little light hearted humor about going on dates…guys still open my car door for me. Even if I’m the one that’s driving, they’ll come on over to my side, open the door. and then proceed to get in the car themselves. It’s cheesy, I know, but I didn’t know guys still did that! very cool.

Not the point, but just had to mention it.

I was talking with one of my co-workers who’s been on 5 dates in the last 6 days. Yesterday, I asked him how his date went. He said it was a really good date, but I didn’t feel it. He continued to explain how the date was pretty awesome, great company, there was never a lull in conversation, the food was good, the music was amazing. Yet he didn’t feel it. He just didn’t. But the girl sure did feel it, she wrote him a email after they went their separate ways. He said he’d go out with her again, but she’s not IT! he felt bad about it, but he’s ready to settle down with that IT girl, and he doesn’t want to waste time just dating around cuz he’s done it all before.

Is there such a thing as knowing that person is the IT person for you on the very first date? He says he’s been in love 3 times before, and each of those times, there was that “feeling” on the first date. and the relationships lasted 2 years or so.

How many people had that “feeling” on their very first date? I know I did… at least once.
