Looking for “Fast Eddie” Felton in NoVa? Chances are, you’ll find him at the glamorous Continental Modern Pool Lounge in Rosslyn, VA. Land in vibrant hues and funky decor inspired by ’60s era nightclubs frequented by pool hustlers (or wannabes).
With nine billiard tables, you can come prove your mettle with friends. Not a pool shark? Try bar shuffleboard, the latest rage, or mellow out with a board game… anyone remember Connect Four?
A long bar sparkling with silver glitter offers up your standard bar fare. To cap it off, it’s only one block from the Rosslyn Metro and free parking is available at the North Moore Street Garage after 6 pm. And there will be no long lines at this DPHH!

Real problem with the Northern Virginia drinking holes is INDOOR SMOKING!
Who want to inhale the stench of cigarette and cigar smoking and pollute our lungs?
Why we have to put up the foul odors of cigarette/cigar smokings on our clothes and hairs?
We ought to send the strong message to the Northern Virginia business establishment, especially the nightlife industry that we do not tolerate indoor smoking at all!
I personally refuse to patronize my neighborhood bars and nightclubs in Northern Virginia area, because of stenchy habits of cigarette smokers impose upon i n n o c e n t people like us with pink lungs.
DeafShark,
I’m no fan of smoking either, but I recall that there was very little smoking at Continental Modern Pool Lounge at the last DPHH we had there (right before the v/blogging Conference at Gallaudet).
Rossyln is not really an ideal place for the nightlife.
Deaf people always get lost within the Rossyln area. Nothing much for the dining options within downtown Rossyln.
Down with Rossyln!
Yea!
If you feel that way, grab your meal before you go to DPHH!
What about accessibility for wheelchairs? Ease of movement around the establishment? Can we have a slightly better track record in those departments despite me being in the minority vs able-bodied people?
Continental Modern Pool Lounge informed me the last time that we went that they were handicapped accessible. I recall that they’re a one-floor establishment.
