It’ll be double the trouble this week for the DC deaf…DPHH will be held on Thursday and Friday evening!
First up is Bar Louie in Chinatown on Thursday, May 1st at 6 pm after the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government Employment and Technology forum in Washington, DC. This DPHH will start earlier than usual, closer to true happy hour times. Bar Louie offers jumbo martinis, microbrews and select wines by the glass or bottle. If you have a hankering for Fat Tire beer, this is your place! With a flux of feds at this event, c’mon over and find out who works for our government. Oh louie louie, me gotta go!

Don’t let one DPHH and DHHIG Conference get you down, turn around and go at it the next night on the other side of Chinatown. Everyone’s been hollering for a DPHH at a bigger location so it’s time to bring our entourage to Ultra Bar on Friday, May 2nd! This location is a upscale, swanky dance club with a bold and curvaceous interior, boasting four plush, unique levels. It’ll be a visual delight!
It’s ladies night at Ultra Bar, my what gentlemen they are! Don’t despair, everyone over 21 gets in FREE with the Internet pass at:

Print out the free admission pass and bring it with you.

You guys picked a very bad location to host DPHH last night. Kudos to all of you DPHH Committee. It’s a major improvement you need to work on.
What was wrong with the location last night? I didn’t get a chance to go.
Bobby,
Yeah, Ultrabar didn’t meet our expectations with the long lines. Hopefully that won’t happen again. We’re bringing the June DPHH to a more traditional DPHH location, to be announced soon.
