For the fourth time in as many months, Express (published by The Washington Post) quoted one of our blogs in their “Blog Log” feature.
This morning’s excerpt was from Adam Stone’s post detailing the reasons why Gallaudet’s Board of Trustees cannot back down from their decision to appoint Dr. Jane K. Fernandes as Gallaudet’s next president. Today’s recognition is our fourth in Express. Our previous quotations in the “Blog Log” were:

Finally, for the first time, DeafDC.com appeared in The Examiner, another local free daily newspaper. Adam Stone was quoted (and erroneously cited as a Gallaudet alumnus) in an article summarizing the Fernandes controversy.

Do reporters assume ALL deafies are Gallaudet Alumni?? sheesh!!
That’s true DavidM. Also, time to time, Washington Post and many media contacted Gallaudet for info and interview (when it comes to non-education issues) — Gallaudet gets involved — they should refer to local deaf organization (i.e. DC Association of the Deaf) and/or NAD.
