The "adoption" I'm talking about here is us playing "Secret Santa" as part of a program my wife's office does with a local school. We'll never meet this kid, most likely, and she'll never know who Santa's elves are. The dolls are temporarily at home with us, until we get our wrapping paper out and tie it all up into a bundle...
