Ok-- I'll bite. Blondie's in Berkeley/SF, and Lamonica's here in L.A. Although La Val's is good, I'll admit.

La Val's in Berkley, Oakland, and Alameda
Zachary's in Rockridge

Pizza Hut?? This franchise serve one of most worst pizzas ever I consume.

The California Pizzas had their frozen pizza products in many grocery stores nowaday. I was surprised that those products tasted same as the restaurant.

How about the "fancier" of two cafeterias at Gallaudet. That one on the main floor of the old Ely Center back in early 1990s. I'm talking about that one is really best mostly handout money (VR, the dole, SSI, SSD, SSDI, whatever--can buy with soda to go!

I agree with Liz Stone. When I was a student at Gallaudet in the 70's. Armand’s Pizza on Wis Avenue was simply top-notch. It was a great place to grab a bite to eat before going to the foreign movies.

I would recommend Valentino's in Alexandria. It's the only closest thing to the pizza de New York! I would know, because I was born and raised up there. :)

Armand's Pizza---several locations around DC area. Thick deep crust with yummy stuff on it. Gourmetish with blue collar twist.
